Crackle Radio

This instrument was invented using old fashioned trial and error. I knew this radio was capable of oscillating when certain connections were made, but this system was not at all playable. So I decided to search for a more playable system. A lucky strike on one 'golden' connection made the instrument much more sensitive to touch. I decided to make it into a sort of crackle box. For this I separated the instrument in two parts, the body and the interface.

How it is played.
The interface has 12 strips of copper, divided in two main groups, within each main group each strip is separated from the next one by about 2mm. Using these strip the crackle radio can be played with skin resistance. On the body of the crackle radio is one more controller, it is used for a kind of global setup.
